It's finally Bead Soup reveal time! Here is a necklace I made using some of the ingredients Perri Jackson of Shaktipaj Designs sent me! I am in love with the pendant so I wanted to put it front and center, so I hung it from the bottom of one of my own ceramic Ornate Keyhole pendants.
I matched the pendant with some of my square links to form a chain and used the pretty opal and iridescent glass beads that Perri sent to bring the links together and add some movement and color with wire wrapped bead dangles.
Here is a picture of my full Bead Soup ingredients! Clearly, I have enough supplies to make more than the one piece. And I still wanted to use that cool clasp. So I made this bracelet:
The bracelet is a nice match to the necklace, with the same dangles and links, plus I added a few pewter and white key and clock links to add some contrasting color.
I STILL had lots of beads left over after those two pieces! And I didn't even touch the turquoise or the handmade glass beads by Java Bead with the awesome silver bead caps that Perri also made. I was poking around my studio, looking for a suitable pendant, and had the epiphany to use one of my Heart Rose Tattoo pendants, which is what I sent to Perri in HER bead soup ingredient list! Full circle. I can't wait to see what she made with my soup mix.
