I've been busy here in the studio getting ready for this weekend's DUCF at the Filmore in Detroit! It's my last big show of the year, not including my home show on the 15th. I have been working on a few new things for it, including some new little word rings that I am just in love with! I have also been enjoying some time off with my sweetie, who has a few days off. We have been decorating the house and doing a little bit of Christmas shopping. This is the earliest I have ever done any of these things (which is kind of making it feel like it is later in the month for me) I am feeling rather festive this year!
I am still accepting orders on the website, but I think I will be shutting it down around the 15th in order to start changing it over to an inventory based system in the next couple of months. I am really excited about this change and hope it will open up more time for me to do creative work instead of so much custom work. I'm always looking for ways to balance efficiency, creativity, and happiness, so it's time for another change to find something that will work better for me.
