Butterfly Mist

Above and below, are two more pieces in the Simply Beads April issue. This is a set called Butterfly Mist. I made these quite a while ago actually, I think for a newsletter, maybe last spring, back when I used to do color profiles in them. This was for Castile Blue, which is the color of the butterfly charms. I had posted these pictures in a few places and people really seemed to like these combinations, particularly in the bracelet, and I had answered many questions about how to make it. So I figured it would be a good project, and submitted it for this Spring. It is great to see it in print now!
Another busy day here, I feel like I accomplished much already, because I took an early trip to the Post office. Our PO box had run out the end of Feb and I forgot to renew! So I had to hurry to make sure they didn't give it away! This is the 5th year we have had it, and its in all my ads and site and business stuff, so its kinda important. oops! No worries, I was able to renew and am all set for another year.

I am feeling like I am in a good place right now, looking forward to the week. There is a ton to do, but I see a light at the end of the tunnel. Just gotta take baby steps. It will be good when the show is over and Monday is here. Whew!

  1. These two pieces are awesome! I love the color combination too. Very wearable!! I am wanting to make a bracelet in this same design myself, with charms. Kind of like the Memento bracelet that I made with the black, red, and white charms and beads! i love this silk ribbon and now they finally sell it at FusionBeads! :)

  2. Lovely designs! I like the color scheme, and the contrast of the clay with fabric is awesome!

Good thing you caught the POBox. It would be hard to reroute everything!
